I thought this would work!!After shooting the new Port Adelaide bridge a couple of weeks back with BigV (the thread can be found HERE) I decided it would be an awesome place to shoot a car. Did a shoot for a mate, here are some of the results.
Also gave me a chance to try out my new toy, the sigma 12-24, performed outstandingly. Comments and Critique welcomed. Cheers Adam Please don't use or edit my images.

Re: I thought this would work!!Very nice location for a car shoot indeed! what gear did you use to light up the car so well?
Re: I thought this would work!!Used the sb800 and sb600 to paint in the car i'd guess in between 10 and 20 flashed within the 30 second exposure.

Re: I thought this would work!!Great location for a car shoot
Hehe good shots, I liked the lower, more agressive perspective best I think some more at the same location with some more shots with this type of angle would work well Good stuff, I think the location would suit really ricey type cars as well
Re: I thought this would work!!Nice work Adam and great timing in the 3rd to get the opening included.

Re: I thought this would work!!I had a small chat to the owner of that car when he attended the Cruise For Charity, i dont think i got any shots of it though.
I have been planning a trip to the bridge with a car to see what i can come up with, but the biggest problem i will have after seeing yours is a lack of lighting! But not too worry, soon! Looks good though mate, although i do agree with some of the others, the lower point of view seems to work better. Doc Life is all about ass, you're either covering it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, trying to get a piece of it, or behaving like one
Re: I thought this would work!!I like these and they are well executed. I'd like to see a couple of the head on shots from a lower perspective, but that's just a taste thing really.
Re: I thought this would work!!were you firing the flashes wirelessly?
how about putting one of the flashes in the car to light the interior a bit? you could even use a blue gel to match the blue lights in the background.

Re: I thought this would work!!Thanks for all the comments guys, I really think the angle of view is a matter of taste, I did a few of the front on a low angle but they really dont look as good to me as the others.
The flashes were set of manually while i walked around the car during the exposure. Some good ideas about radio triggers and lighting up the enterior also. Cheers Adam Please don't use or edit my images.

Re: I thought this would work!!awesome shots, the lights on the bridge look awesome at night and with a long exposure they give a great glow. i really want to get some lighting for shoots like these, can anyone recommend a setup that wont break the bank?
Re: I thought this would work!!
You probably have all of the tools you need already......Camera Tripd and flashlight!!! Set a long enough exposure to let you walk around the car a bit with the torch, play with the settings to balance it all out and walla bobs your aunty's live in lover!! Please don't use or edit my images.

Re: I thought this would work!!Jay, Adam set a long exposure and then when the shutter is open he walks around the car using the torch light to illuminate it, giving a balance between the background light and what is made available from the torch... Does this answer the question?
