Kidney Kar Rally Images.Okay, finally getting around to posting some images from the 2008 Kidney Kar Rally. For those that dont know, myself, Matty, Michael and myself spent nine days on the road with the rally, and had a great time. Strangely after living in each others pockets for 9 days, we didnt quite want to kill each other by the end of it.
Thought I'd post some of my images. The sand dunes near Mildura brought some unstuck. Sunset over canola fields, near Bendigo. Aberfeldy, Victorian High Country. (Yes Matty, it's just a sign....) The Circlework Truck. Sunset National Park, Mildura. Public thanks to Michael and Matty. The feedback I have gotten so far is excellent, being informed we are possibly the best photographers to cover the event yet, so thanks for the efforts guys. Looks like next year we will be travelling from Tasmania to the NSW Hunter Valley! 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

Re: Kidney Kar Rally Images.Great images Alan!!
Was that the Sigma 10-20? Looks like it found a good home!
Re: Kidney Kar Rally Images.Might have been the 14-24
Alan these are fantastic mate!!!! Well done and congratulations on a successful event
Re: Kidney Kar Rally Images.Hi Mate
These are good but now I want to see more. Jeff
Re: Kidney Kar Rally Images. Thanks guys, it was good to literally 'live and breathe' photography for so long. Always looking for a shot, always trying to improve on the previous days shooting.
Yi-P, yep, I think a few of them are from the 10-20, the Aberfeldy sign is using the 24-70 I think. We were fortunate to have a loaned D3, 12-24 and 24-70 from Nikon, thanks Matty for organising them. The D3 is simply the best bit of kit a photographer can have. Clean high ISO images, as easy to drive as the D2 series, and feels great! 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc
