MotherHey guys
Went on a trip down Taronga Zoo today and carried along my trusty 30D and 70-200. Really wanted to capture some apes especially the new mommy gorilla. Anyway below are my top 2 shots of the day. I just love 'em
Re: MotherAwesome first photo. B&W really suits the shot.
It further reinforces by belief in Evolution not Creation. Bruce Cheers, Bruce
Canon Eos 5D MKII, 16-35mm f2.8L II USM, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM, EF 50mm f1.4 USM. Edit photos OK. http://bruceybaby66.smugmug.com/
Re: Motherlol I was at Taronga yesterday as well - haven't thought of converting some to B&W, you've given me some ideas...
Re: MotherThat first one is amazing. It's like a posed shot with a human mother and baby. Awesome.
Nikon D7000
Re: MotherStunning pictures. I absolutley love number one. If you could speak primate and asked for them to pose it would still be hard to execute such a magnificent shot. Congrats on POTW.
Picture number two really makes me feel for "Bubbles" (MJ's Monkey). Even thought the lighting from the sun should bring a warm feel to the subject, the black and white conversion brings across a cold and lonely portrait. Nice work. Re: MotherAmazing! Well deserved POTW!
