I have crabsI'm very happy with these three shots so I thought I'd post them. All taken with Nikon D300 with Micro 60mm lens in flat port and two strobes.

Re: I have crabsThe first of these has a beautiful delicateness about it .... not to be confused with the subject's potential as a delicacy.

Re: I have crabsBoth the first and the 3rd are my favourites.
I'm curious about technique: how do you record the specific depths for each image? A high-tech or low-tech solution?

Re: I have crabs1 & 3 outstanding Anthony. I love your oxymoron mate, 'an accurate approximation'!?!
Teheheheh It's hard enough taking great photos under good conditions, but having to put the camera in a watertight housing and doing it underwater is something else again. Great work.

Re: I have crabsI wasn't sure what type of crabs you had in front of your lens! I was releived they weren't what I thought!
I prefer the first two picture, though.
Re: I have crabsAndrew I always look forward to seeing your dive images since they take me to places I'll never see. You haven't disappointed me with this group. Most fascinating for me are images 2 and 3 - I didn't realise that some crabs had eyes like this.
