I love the colour punch in the second image. Makes the fish really stand out. Steve (Nikon D200/D700)

Re: So where are the chips? Reef fish pictures (wide angle)Wow, these are great, especially 2 and 3! 1 looks a bit bland in terms of overall colour compared to the other two, but the fish is still awesome.
Re: So where are the chips? Reef fish pictures (wide angle)Nice colours.. I like #3 - you using a fisheye lens ? gives a nice effect. Too bad a I can't get a fisheye for my compact.
Re: So where are the chips? Reef fish pictures (wide angle)Absolooootly beaudiful, spectacular colours. You've now got me thinking again about a waterproof housing for my G9!

Re: So where are the chips? Reef fish pictures (wide angle)Great colours! Were you using strobes (and if so which) or did you use filters or just post processing the get the colours back?
By the way, what lens and what size port?
Re: So where are the chips? Reef fish pictures (wide angle)Beautiful work Love the wide angle, and #2 is a corker.

Re: So where are the chips? Reef fish pictures (wide angle)
Thanks! Nikon's 10.5mm lens - aquatica 8 inch dome port. Dual strobes (sea and sea YS110's) - you can see the light falling off in the third shot with the goat fish - I should have positioned them a little wider for this type of shot (ie too close to the housing). Steve (Nikon D200/D700)

Re: So where are the chips? Reef fish pictures (wide angle)
You should do it - the G9 is a very good option for point and shoot underwater imaging. A friend of mine produces some very good results using this model. Steve (Nikon D200/D700)
