Few portraits from the weekend - Part ITwo from the beach this weekend:

Re: Few from the weekend - Part 1Oh very nice Yip!.. I know how hard it is to expose in these conditions with white dresses.. sand.. sunlight... water and a black suit.. but you've done it to prefection.. great natural posing... it shows your own style... I'm a little jealous even...
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Few from the weekend - Part 1
Thanks for your comments Sue.
Re: Few portraits from the weekend - Part IYi-p, you should be very happy with these.
If I was nit picking, and I will...I'd suggest you clone out the purple/black beach umbrella in the first shot. I find it a tad distracting. The 2nd shot is fantastic, nice blue sky with some whispy cloud, a slightly tighter crop may work here but it's a great shot none-the-less. Well done mate. Was this a paid gig? Geoff

Re: Few portraits from the weekend - Part IAcctually Geoff I didn't see the umbrella until you mentioned it! Both wonderful shots and beautifully exposed. The cloud detail is great too. The couple will be very happy with these images.

Re: Few portraits from the weekend - Part IYip really like the second, you have created a great shot there. Like Geoff I find the umbrella distracting, though it may have worked as a lone beach element to the side of the happy couple. I probably would like to see the first taken from a lower (you may already have been on the sand) or closer vantage point to highlight the couple against the sky rather than the mixed background. I like your style

Re: Few portraits from the weekend - Part IThanks all.
I too noticed about the umbrella, but that is about the cleanest I can get before I start getting the entire beach population into the shot. I will look at cloning it out of this one. Here is a 2nd set of photos taken: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=34065
