Hi Pa, a quick search on this site (I remembered the name) turned up this 22 post thread about them. I will let you make your own decisions.

In the referred-to thread, these people were welcomed, and invited to express their case openly and honestly.

They were also invited to comply with forum rules.

Although they have subsequently returned to the forum, they have failed to add to their post count, which remains at 1.

Although they have subsequently returned to the forum, they have failed to adequately (IMHO) express their case and answer any of the questions asked of them.

And although they have subsequently returned to the forum, they have failed to comply with forum rules.

These people appear to be unwilling to express their views openly and honestly. Alan, does your friend feel lucky? I would not be spending my money there.

Further, given the current state of the Pacific Peso, your friend needs to properly and fully investigate the supply of locally sourced product, which many members are stating to be cheaper than grey.

OI used their price for the Sigma 150mm and 180mm to get CR Kennedy to price match my beautiful new 180mm. But after reading that other thread, I would agree that they dont seem to be too safe an option.

Good point about local retailers providing good pricing atm.
