Where to find a D700

Postby agriffiths on Wed Oct 01, 2008 2:25 pm

Can anyone tell me where to find the best deal on a D700 these days?

I usually buy stuff through the bargains section but it seems even Vanbar can beat the bargains price.

And one of the DSLRUser members work for a store that are doing good deals as well. cant remember which post I was looking at???

Otherwise this would be close to the best deal... I have no idea on what they are like as a business though.

Scored one in Singapore no problems. (not overly helpful unless you have a business trip coming?)

That would be Michael at Ted's in Pitt St, IIRC. Look at this thread

I suspect that the deal you're quoting is a bit too good to be true.

I'd be inclined to send Michael a PM or email to just introduce yourself, and to arrange an appointment to meet with him in-store. No point in wandering in if he's not going to be around.

Wow thanks for the reponse guys. That was fast!

Those are some great deals.

I'll be strapping this to a UAV helicopter, hence the need to find the best $ deal. The pucker factor is a real issue when you're flying a $3,000+ camera  .
