three is a crowdhi guys just generating chatter for this opinion
i find having 2 camera's is perfect not only for practical reasons but it looks good walking down the street with 2 camera's one on each shoulder question is why is two sweet and 3 cameras hanging off you not if i had to have 3 cameras it would be 1 wirth a wide angle lens the other with a telephoto and the 3rd one a rangfinder around my neck discussion... Re: three is a crowdMy opinion is this, one camera amateur, 2 cameras pro, three cameras total wanker

Re: three is a crowdI stick with the 2 camera rule: 1 SLR & 1 MF. It gives me street cred, without being a total wanker, as Chris said. Well, I don't want to publicise the fact that I am total wanker

Have you been to the gym a lot recently Wendell? 3 cameras will weigh about 50% of what you do! http://wolfeyes.com.au Tactical Torches - Tactical Flashlights Police torch rechargeable torch military torch police military HID surefire flashlight LED torch tactical torch rechargeable wolf eyes flashlight surefire torch wolf eyes tactical torchpolice torch

Re: three is a crowd
Are reasons beyond the practical? Please explain.
It does? Who says so? And since when does "it looks good" have anything to do with one's photography skills? g.

Re: three is a crowdWhy would you walk around the streets with 2 cameras hanging off you let alone 3???
I think 2 hanging off the shoulders is wanky, unless you're on a shoot or something Olympus E-3, 14-54mm f2.8

Re: three is a crowdFor an event, 2 bodies is ideal as you'd have one for your tele and another either for a prime or a wide to mid zoom. As for 3...I don't know, just doesn't seem practical. I've seen a few people do it but it's just uncomfortable in terms of practicalities....

Re: three is a crowdI think I know why Wendell is asking this question. He's planning on carrying every bit of equipment he owns on him all the time so that it doesn't get knocked off. Don't worry about how goofy it looks mate, just do it.

Re: three is a crowd
Phillip, Nice thought, but I don't think that's quite right. Wendell lost stuff on his last trip, so I expect that, at our next event, we can see him turn up with just one shoulder, and his prosthetic leg will have gone astray as well. But the good news is that we can set up a boulles game using his glass eye and his silicone testicle. g.

Perhaps you want to shoot in two different formats - digital and medium format? Regards, Patrick
