Support for no-AF motor growingTamron annouced more goodies for d40/40x/60 owners...including the legendary 90mm macro lens. it appears that pretty much all of tamron, sigma and nikkors are now being released with in-lens motors so this is great news for d40/60 guys. but imo, it also signals that the loss of the motor cant be too far away further up the nikon line. maybe the next incarnation of the d90.

Re: Support for no-AF motor growingBUMP!
the introduction of in-built micro motors is really good for people with D40/40x/60's, too bad that the Tamron's to date are not AF-S equivalent (17-50mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8 especially from what I have heard and seen). The 18-270mm VC looks interesting, do we have a worthy 18-200 VR competitor?? Cameron
