My five minutes of fame... My immortalization by having a photo printed in a calendar and on a mug. Here is the competition, with discussion at the bottom of that post about technique. And here was my entry... The most difficult part for me was deciding which photos to enter. If you're keen you can have a look at another thread I started titled My 2007 "Short list" - WARNING 84 photos, 6.5Mb

Ok, Adam, You're sharing? Let me help you with the math: you won, let's say, PP100. We have about 3000 members. That's about 33 cents each, right? Congratulations. That is a seriously good image. I hope you've printed it big and have it hanging somewhere obvious.

Thanks for all the comments! I'm pretty happy with it too. I must be careful with my choice of words though... Sharing, indeed!
I did win a free mug - I could shatter it into, say, 3000 pieces? That should be possible - each person gets, what, a grain of sand?

Congratulations Adam. Well deserved!! There was plenty of good competition images in that lot so to come out on top is quite an achievement.

Well done Adam, great shot.
