Point Cook RAAF - MelbHi All....
Been a long time since Ive taken any snaps let alone posted them.. went to point cook RAAF museum today...great place, insane security guard tho! so heres my pics with the 400D...just the 18-55 kit lens as the 50mm i have was too long to get full pics... the colour one purposely has a bluer background to bring the plane out a bit... which is best... B&W? Colour or Sepia? and then the phantom somewhat OOF and not for critique as this pic sux...dam yellow floor! but just thrown in for good measure The Tiger Moth fire away ... hope u like and if u ever get a chance shoot down there for a looksee...free entry and happy donations Canon EOS 40D
Canon EOS 400D 50mm 1.8 EF
Re: Point Cook RAAF - MelbI personally like the black and white image for the first set. Neither the Phantom nor the TIger Moth did much for me. I would have imagined that the lighting was not great, but good work!

Re: Point Cook RAAF - Melb1st image for me too. Suits the subject matter perfectly.
D90 + 18-55VR + 55-200VR
Re: Point Cook RAAF - MelbB&W for me, it suits the old style if plane.
I always think of sepia as just a faded old B&W anyway. D300, 80-200 F2.8, 50mm F1.4, 18-70 kit, Sigma 14mm F3.5
Re: Point Cook RAAF - MelbI think the first image is a wonderful example of a B&W image that is better than its colour counterpart.
