Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Hi All.... Been a long time since Ive taken any snaps let alone posted them.. went to point cook RAAF museum today...great place, insane security guard tho! so heres my pics with the 400D...just the 18-55 kit lens as the 50mm i have was too long to get full pics... the colour one purposely has a bluer background to bring the plane out a bit... which is best... B&W? Colour or Sepia?    and then the phantom  somewhat OOF   and not for critique as this pic sux...dam yellow floor! but just thrown in for good measure The Tiger Moth  fire away ... hope u like and if u ever get a chance shoot down there for a looksee...free entry and happy donations Canon EOS 40D

I personally like the black and white image for the first set. Neither the Phantom nor the TIger Moth did much for me. I would have imagined that the lighting was not great, but good work!

B&W for me, it suits the old style if plane.
I always think of sepia as just a faded old B&W anyway.

I think the first image is a wonderful example of a B&W image that is better than its colour counterpart.

yep..only a few lights, the walkways were close to the planes and the shutter was at something like 1/4 ... and i was leaning backwards for the phantom that's the reason for OOF me thinks... would love to get the oldy out on the grass with sum trees behind.....oh well one can only wish  Thanks again guys...and if u ever get the chance go out there...great for a visit Canon EOS 40D
