One down . . . and . . .. . . one to go.
Unfortunatley this young boy has been a bit naughty in training and the vet was called in to perform a small operation to settle him down. A few mates have bought a farm and installed an automated acqua walker where race horses are spelled and get recovery training. They asked me to take some shots for their brochure and I went out today to get briefed on their requirements and take some sample shots ready for an early morning shoot tomorrow. Couldn't help feel a bit sorry for this fellow but the girls seemed to be enjoying it in some strange way. . . . and NO - this is not for the brochure - How do you feel boys? No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: One down . . . and . . .Things surely have changed compared to when my dad used to do this procedure on horses! Good to see the twitch is still used.
Nice image - good composition. Regards, Patrick

Re: One down . . . and . . .I've watched a few of these, worst ones were those during the popularity of the short acting muscle relaxant Suxamethonium - if the vet wasn't quick or got held up, drastic results could ensue. Not to mention that there was always an argument about the lack of analgesia under that particular drug... So much better these days. Good facilities and capable handlers like these make a big difference too.
Nice composition. Might be just me, but I can see a place for that in the brochure, just not the front page. Michael

And not just the horse that's been naughty, eh? Please resize the image so that it complies with our guidelines, before we perform a small operation on your post, Bob. I suspect that your frame may be doing more than you intended, and might have been overlooked in your assessment of the final size of this image. I personally believe that it does a lot less than you believe, but that's a different discussion. g.
