300 2.8 focusing

i have a canon 300 2.8 lens that will not auto-focus anymore. i was told parts were not available for repairs,its about 6 years old. anyone know where i might look to get my lens repaired. maybe even a used parts place, sounds funny but i love this lens and cannot afford another one.

Sorry - don't live in your area.

If I were you, I would find Canon USA on the internet and find the authorised repairers closest to you, then contact them for advice.
