ErhuI took this photo about three or four years ago in one of the many gardens in Beijing.
I was impressed by the unusual sound of the instrument and the skill and serene expression of the player. I thought the man was begging so I deposited a US $ note to the laughter of the passers by around me. Unfortunately I did not have an SLR at the time, and I could only take jpgs. I cropped the photo, sharpened it a bit and added a vignette. I hope you like it.
Re: ErhuI think I'd like this image more if it had less/no vignette..I'm not sure it suits this portrait.

Re: ErhuI agree with matt. This photo is classical and the darkening only goes to lift the subject out of the background. A lovely shot.
