Thanks Glen. Looks like there's some useful things included.

Note that with those Nikon Asia pages you can ditch everything after the faqid.

Just updated, fingers crossed I have not done something that I will regret!

Also brought the S5 Pro to V 1.11 as well whilst I was at it.

Follow the directions on the site. There is A and B software, extract them and put them one at a time on a CF card and go to "firmware version". It will give you your present version and if it can see the new also "update". Go Ok then don't touch till finished. Delete that firmware and put the other (A or B) on and repeat. Have a full battery before you start. Good luck

The range of settings available for ISO sensitivity settings>ISO sensitivity autocontrol>Minimum shutter speed in the shooting menu has been increased from 1/250–1 s to 1/4000–1 s.

Awesome, I have been wanting this for years!

There are already reports of significantly improved AF performance, especially in 51-pt 3d mode

I have noticed the improved AF, but would like to ask to check my sanity, but does anyone else think that the exposure is a little off now?

I may well be off my rocker on this, but I think my camera is overexposing a little sometimes since the firmware upgrade.
