Re: Fun at Church ?!?!?Bloody beautiful shots there Chris!
I love all of them but my faves would be one and three... You can borrow the D700 sometime mate, as I think you, the D700 and your 14-24 would be a magical threesome. Thanks for showing us these images mate..well done. Geoff

Re: Fun at Church ?!?!?These are amazing images Rooz. I’m fascinated by the horseshoes on the roof, mainly pointing down, which infers good luck pouring down on you. Just a question, is this a Coptic church?

Re: Fun at Church ?!?!?
thanks Chris. its a Russian Orthodox church. those "horseshoes" are actually the gold halo's around the saints heads. due to the exposure you cant nake out the saints but the reflection off the metallic gold paint for the halos makes them stand out. (nice idea you had there though lol). the saint thats highlighted on the right, from the sun coming thru a high window, is actually St Lucas which is quite appropriate given the occasion. lol this is a return to the scene of the crime somewhat for the lkittle fella who was baptised here. anyone who has seen a russian baptism knows there is no subtelty about it. lol EM1 l 7.5 l 12-40 l 14 l 17 l 25 l 45 l 60 l 75 l AW1 l V3
