Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Typically, no more than about four images should be posted in any one post or thread, and the maximum size of any side of any image should not exceed 950 px.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Taken a few weeks back, hoping for rain, its not that bad here, for some reason it drys out quick and these great cracks form in the mud/sand/clay soil.

Very nice. I've conducted a number of mud crack shoots...with some results I found quite pleasing. I like to focus on 2D plane form images wth this type of work....look for patterns from above. I like this one, the deep view and lead in is very nice. It dries out quickly as there is very little water in the soil below, ie the ground water is at low levels.

nice work Kane.
I really like the rich colours and the way the eye follows a path along the creak bed. BTW we could all do with some rain!!
