My Latest gig shotsI shot another canberra festival on the weekend with a killer lineup!
Trackside played host to the living end, cut copy, gyroscope, the getaway plan, something with numbers and the panics just to name a few. Re: My Latest gig shots
Most of these were iso 3200 (cause i can) could have gotten away with iso 1600 but now that i have the chance to shoot with really high shutter speeds (read 1/250th at the least up to 1/4000th) at gigs i do, its amazing the little things it captures. shot between f2.8 and f4 mostly towards f4 all 2000 frames from the day shot in raw! http://flickr.com/photos/jamesthomsonphotography/

Re: My Latest gig shotsFor that first shot you probably could have gotten a little lower to make it look like the light's hitting his hide. Right now it just looks like his neck's sprouting light. But i'm just being nitpicky
Re: My Latest gig shots
problem is if i did get lower i would have been shooting up his nose, and there was about 5 lights behind him i was trying to hide http://flickr.com/photos/jamesthomsonphotography/

Re: My Latest gig shotsI like 1, 2, 4 & 5. 5 in particular!
The others are good too, but I think have too much happening in the background.
