So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Wow - so French noir or the elfin look. This young lady certainly has far to go and with your accomplished camera/direction, I can see it happening.
#1 = great subject placement in the surroundings and just love the Polaroid/Lomo feel #3 = A touch of humour with a beautiful girl surrounded by decay - priceless #4 = my personal favourite. From the very French look, through the pose and even down to the head placement and look on the young ladies face - couple all of this with the position of the sun to induce halation and flare and the result, I love it  Chris

I agree with Chris on all of what he said.
But I'm also wondering, in the fourth, about a square crop as well - keep the whole of the bottom part of the image, and just crop from the top to the point where it's square. g.

i really appreciate it! i have already tried the square crop in the fourth, but i think that i prefer it as it is. Not bad idea at all though. many many thanks again btw... Chris, her name is Charlotte and she is from France!!
