Elinchrom Skyport Question

Postby Raskill on Sat Dec 27, 2008 5:21 pm

Hi Folks,

I've got the opportunity to buy a Elinchrom Skyport universal set for a pretty good price.

My reason for purchasing them is for remote shooting, over no more than 20 - 30 metres outdoors for a Nikon D2h.

Is anyone using these as triggers for cameras?

I know they dont have the same range as PW's, but I need to be extremely mindful of finances,

Cheers!

There have been quite a few threads about these and Pocket Wizards - I would recommend that you use the "Search" function.

Here's one about the Skyports:

Yeah, read that thread mate. Doesn't really answer if anyone is using them for remote shots on a D2h, which is what I need to know.

None of the others seem to answer the question either :(
