Fantastic shots. I have a hard time picking a favourite. Probably the first.

My only comment would be regarding the perspective in the third shot. I find the angle of the building a bit too much. Perhaps some perspective correction, but don't completely straighten it.

Fantastic work as usual Kane. Awe inspiring set of images. I love the HDR effect but my attempts are for from this impressive. My pic of the bunch is the Church in the Bush. Lovely colours and fantastic results.

Great set Kane,

your use of HDR is very well perfected. The first one is great, love the colours. The distortion from a WA on the pier makes me a bit unsteady but I can live with that

The church is also very well done. Distortion has already been mentioned but it doesn't bother me much.

As for HDR technique, there is a good article by Nick Melidonis in the current Better Photography, issue 54. He goes through his technique in good detail. I have actually seen him do it and it is fairly straightforward. Hopefully Kane will also share some of his technique as well as there is certainly plenty of ways to skin a feline

I'm not generally a big fan of HDR images since they often look unnaturally lit. Now I've got that off my chest, I must say that overall these shots really appeal to me. In order of preference I like images 2, 4 and 5. #1 has that unnatural look I mentioned (emphasised by the dark patch at the end of the pier) and, like others have mentioned already, the distortion of the church due to the WA lens in #3 detracts from the shot for me (but it's great use of HDR). These shots are a testament to your HDR skills, are of commercial quality and like much of your work show how HDR done right can make a wonderful image.

I'd also like to say it's good to see these aren't just HDR for the sake of it. Each image here has been composed as a piece and would stand alone even under normal lighting/exposure if that makes sense, whereas sometimes HDR images can overemphasise the dynamic range without regard for strong composition.

Really nice work Kane.

No 1 is my pick, with a personal proviso.

I would like to see about 25% cropped from the left-hand side. I find the railing in that sector intrudes on what is otherwise a well balanced shot.
