Hi,

read about Marc Riboud today. For those that enjoy photography, especially PJ, the site is well worth a visit. It is in French but with the photography he has, you don't need to understand the language.

Hope you enjoy: http://www.marcriboud.com/

Riboud is one of the greats in photography. A Magnum member for 25 years and I think he was president or vice president of the group for a number of years. His black and white work is up there with cartier Bresson, Werner Bischof and Rene Burri. Oddly enough I think his black and white work is brilliant but I'm not a fan of his colour work. That's just my taste I guess. Thanks for the prompt! For those who want a quick overview of his mastery of black and white check out this link. I think one his greatest images is La fille à la fleur. Whenever I see it I can't pull my eyes away. http://images.google.com/images?oe=UTF- ... 4&ct=title
