Re: Tour Down Under picsHi Cathy,
certainly was difficulty finding Lance in the main pack and the bright overhead sun produced some harsh shadows so you did well getting a shot. I was there with the rest of the forum guys at the Nth Tce end so sorry we didn't catch up - I'm looking at my efforts a the moment so will post something shortly Cheers DebT DebT

Re: Tour Down Under picsHi Deb,
Tom and I didnt even get there until about 1:45, and thought we wouldn't find a spot, but we did - awesome place in the shade, looking around a bend as the guys rode up the hill near the golf course. How crowded was it where you were? I got a few other nice shots but I have reached my Flickr limit for the month! Cathy My Red Bubble Site: http://www.redbubble.com/people/cathycormack
Re: Tour Down Under picsLooks like you did well.
The panning shots look particularly good. I've just posted some of my shots. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

Re: Tour Down Under picsHi Cathy,
I got there around 11 with Daniel, Fozzie Tony & John and we staked out some ground at the end of the start/finish where they do the U turn back up King William Rd ..and yes it got crowded and we had to fight off a few people .. funny thing is our shots are probably very similar I have amatching set to those Daniel has just posted ...so at least yours are original catch up again soon DebT DebT
