Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. On The Edge Of SpaceI call this image, 'On The Edge Of Space' for obvious reasons. I photographed this at high altitude 'somewhere' over South Australia last week during the heatwave. I used a Panasonic Lumix P&S as using a DSLR on an aeroplane can be a bit clumsy.
[Start Interesting Trivia] The temperature outside here was about 95 degrees LESS than at ground level. [End Trivia] Click on the image for a larger view. Steve.

Re: On The Edge Of SpaceGreat picture, no doubts it does look like the edge of space. What were you flying in?

Re: On The Edge Of SpaceExcellent. I like how it gets clearer further from the ground.
Re: On The Edge Of Space
Just a run-of-the-mill, common or garden variety Qantas 767, but we had to increase altitude to avoid some dirty air, apparently. We still hit it and got bucketed around for about one hour. Unfortunately the great view was short lived as we flew over an enormous mass of cloud all the way from SA to Perth. Steve.
