Is it Easter already?I'll get back to the cold pictures soon, but here's something a bit different: on our way back from Antarctica we spent 5 days on Easter Island (part of Chile, half-way between Tahiti and South America).

Re: Is it Easter already?Very nice shots.
When I was first at Easter Island in 1980, the airport was an open-air shack, and the duty free stores at the airport were about half a dozen women, each with their own big stone selling their wares. Quite humorous. Regards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
Re: Is it Easter already?Excellent.
The first stone head looks quite different in design from the other ones (the ones we usually see).
Re: Is it Easter already?Excellent work again Dave. I love the composition in the 1st one. The arrangement of the clouds with respect to the statue is stunning. Also love the silhouetted statues and the horses. The horses photo has a great motion feeling.
