Adelaide Meet, Botanic Garden shotsWe had a meet up at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens to exercise our macro shooting.
Here's some of my shots from the day... Most of these shots are heavily cropped (some equivalent to 2Mpx), so they're not great but I think they came up OK. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

Thanks. My macros were all done with the Sigma 150mm f/2.8 lens. But keep in mind I did a hard crop on that one in post-processing. Having said that, I did not get close enough to a 1:1, so you can do better.
Thanks Deb. Yes the yellow was blown and I couldn't bring it back, even shooting raw! Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

It was a good day. One good thing about macro is you can find things to shoot anywhere. Perhaps you when you take a break from the high pressure world of fishing you can relax with some quiet macros. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm
