This is only a goalpostBeen out today and grabbed some interesting pics. This is one of a goal post. I guess I'm enamoured with juxtaposing manmade with nature. For me it makes for a compelling image. This one of goalposts was so-so so I darkened the goal posts which improved the pic quite a bit (thanks Chris for the suggestion of changing the tolerance of the wand, works like a charm now). Please let me know if these are too big.
I think this one might look better in Black and White as well. And this one was a nice but typical scene of water and trees fading into the fog. At one point a car drove by on the other side and I waited for a little while to grab it as it would have made it interesting but I got bored and left.
Really like the reflections in the last pic - well balanced, and like the disappearing point of view
Well done. As for the other two - I see what you're trying to get with the goalpost one, and it almost works for me. Not sure about it though. Perhaps try a crop with less of the black foreground, and maybe a little less of the tree on the right. The bridge is a classic shot which I think would be helped by desaturating the colour (I don't think a full black and white is necessary to make it work). I love the way it just disappears into the fog (or is it the way it appears from the fog?) *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
