Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

quick lens testWhile in Sydney I picked up a second hand 35 mm F2 Nikor....... the lens appears to be very sharp, judging from the few shots I have taken. One of the quick test shots....... 250@7.1 ISO 1000 D700

Re: quick lens testWhat would a reasonable price second hand be for a 35 f2? I 've seen a pretty good one for around $320 mark is that reasonable?

Re: quick lens testThats my problem, not being able to physically hold the lens...so it needs to be a bargain of sorts or its risk..
I think I'll go a new 50 1.4 AF-s instead. Regards MATT
