any thoughts on these photos.........?i personally like these , but i am not sure if they would work for anyone else...
They are unusual, and I have to admit I'm unsure about them. I think they would do well in a catalogue situation or in some other publication as backgrounds.
I do love the colour of the third one, very striking *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
the second works for me.... nice shot...
cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
flipfrog,
awesome. really liked the bottom two - particularly the bottom one - although the second one keeps growing on me (do you have a larger version?). you're quite observant to have picked up on it. Good example of wabi-sabi. cheers paull
Hi Flipfrog,
I like photo 1 and photo 3. I like the dynamic and perspective in photo 1 It gives a different view and is quite active (movement etc.) Photo 3 I like because of the colour contrast and the moss that is slowly getting the timber. Great photos. CD
Well flipfrog. For me it's 2 and 3 with 2 being the best. It took a bit of looking to even work out that #1 wasn't an abstract, but really trully objects (but then maybe that's a good thing!)

Dee - I like all three - they are different but that is what photography is all about. The colours are superb. I like your style.

2 is actually an old parking lot shed wall....rusted out and aged....
for those that care, 1 has a story....this is a line up of people waiting for rare exclusive Air Jordan sneakers in Seattle WA...if u look carefully, most of the feet have Jordan kicks on them, and you can tell that this is the focal point in this pic b/c of where the guy in the back right is looking... some of these people were in line for two nights on the street....
Flippie,
Great 1st shot, could tell a few different stories depending on yuor imagination, well done, Max President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse)
Canon EOS R6, RF 24-105 F4, RF 70-200 F4, RF 35mm F1.8, RF 16mm F2.8 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32)
Flipfrog I like them all. My personal preference is #3 then #1 then #2.
The colours along with the image of decay etc in #3 is brilliant. #1 is good too but for me it didn't quite tell it's own story (though when linked with your words it works well). Looking forward to seing more! Cheers, Gordon. Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.
