Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Very nice, we dont get those on the east coast, I can just imagine sitting back on a banana lounge sucking down a cocktail from a pineapple glass while looking at that....

This is a stunner,
I really like the way the mountains are visible in the background as oposed to just ocean.

Awesome picture as the others have commented. POTW???

The interface between the sea and mountains are somewhat abrupt... Did you PP that area?

Thanks all for your comments! I didn't realise someone responded to this post as I haven't checked the site for a while.

Surenj: No major pp on this image apart from global adjustments such as contrast, saturation, some minor layer blending and a bit of high pass filtre to give it a bit of a pop. The sunsets are naturally beautiful there!!

Grivai: No, didn't dive there. Just enjoyed the place above the water :-)

Cheers

I visited Lipe about 6 years ago. An amazing place for snorkelling and relaxing. I remember getting some good sunset images with the P+S I was using back then but then lost them all when my portable hard drive was nicked. Nice memories of this place.
