Very hot in Melbourne town today, my daughter was grizzleing a fair bit so I took her out and hosed her to cool her down. She loooooves water Sorry, coudn't Embed this one, tried everything on my Mac so you will just have to clink onto Link. Very strange as I have just embedded the Parrot on with no probs. Baffles me Bloody Macs! Taken with my new 17-55 F2.8 around 300th sec. / Desaturated in PS & a little Contrast added. Hope you like. Mic. Proud Father of my gorgeous little girl Morgan.

LIKE? I love this shot Mic! It's beautiful, bought a tear to my eye, and showed my fiancee the image and she said in a typically female but cute squeely voice 'ooooh she's soo cute'. My monitor may be not well callibrated to yours but I would like to see maybe a TAD more bridghtness to this image, but as I said, it may be my monitor. Oooh the 17-55, makes me want it even more now, didn't think that was possible. Anyone want to donate one to me? Geoff. PS - Can you please post the colour image as well?
Mic - another stunning pic from your lens and of your little one too - my only comment would be to try and lighten her face a little

Had you used flash I think this would be contest winning shoe in. It transcends the photo and literally oozes with life. Congrats.
I agree with Chris, definitly lighten the face a tad.
I too love this pic Mic, and agree her face just a tad lighter would be nice. Her left side is a bit to dark but great picture, a moment to treasure for sure.

Re: A Bad Hair Day.Mic,
Betcha didn't try removing the leading space from the filename. I'd like to have seen the face lightened up a little ... g.
