Re: PotW 6.05.09I'm not seeing an image, Glen. Does that mean Matt couldn't choose?
Re: PotW 6.05.09Nice choice Matt, a subtle image that deserves a second look! well done norbs.

not showing in this thread, but on the portal page it is showing. Good pick. It is a great picture, really fits the subject and context.
Re: PotW 6.05.09It's not showing in this thread because there's nothing embedded in Glen's post to be shown. I'll check it all out shortly.

Re: PotW 6.05.09I can see it now. Great choice.
Re: PotW 6.05.09Very nice,
I love the flare off the flag pole.
Re: PotW 6.05.09Thanks for getting the image up for me Glen. I was posting from an internet cafe and was unsure of how to make the post work. I chose the image because it captures an emotion...and a stillness that is unusual and not often seen in a photograph. Also, the composition is complex....finely balanced.....shouldn't work because of the way the elements are placed....but does work. Even the flag seems to blowing against the wind. Nice job Norbs!
Regards
Matt. K
Re: PotW 6.05.09Very topical! I like the colours and the framing.
