A ROSE IS A ROSEThis rose was taken with my new [16+years] 70-210 1:4 5/6 im quite happy with it comments please
Beautiful shot LOZ.
What a coincidence, I was playing around in the garden this morning with my version of this lens (just about to post a couple of shots), before the Brisbane meeting. Greeat work. Cheers Peter my karma just ran over your dogma
I'm quite happy with it too LOZ - same lens today as Boxerboy! That sort of day eh? Dark background -V. good best for floral judgement. Nice open bloom and no petal damage. This botanic stuff gets me in every time! Thanks for showing it off - I'm always up for a good rose image.
Shoot early - Shoot often
Beautiful shot Loz, great colour, great separation between petals and BG. Very nice work.

Well done. The hard part in shots like this is finding the perfect flower and you've nailled it. Sure beats duck pics Peter

Chris,
Brilliant work again. I am not a gardener, but I do like flowers, especially roses because of the different textures, so complex. This one is a classic example. It just draws you to it, so how could not not reach over and smell. ta ta, fozzie
When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
Sensational.
