CHEAP LARGE PRINTS!!!

Postby aim54x on Thu May 07, 2009 11:53 am

I have just been informed by a friend that he did some large A2 digital prints at the ACP for AUD$29 each....

Apparently they are using a big EPSON and you have a choice of Satin, Glossy and Fibre paper.

I have not seen the results but i guess if you are interested go down there and have a look.

edit: the rollover is incorrect, the ACP is the Australian Centre of Photography

Give it a go and find out! that will be the only way to see. That is a VERY good price.

Hey Cameron, Are these prices only if you hire the facilities??

Hey Inmotion, Can you post the details of this service. I have an Adelaide connection I can potentially ask to help print off him!

To tell you the truth I am not sure. I have not printed there and my mate did not divulge the details, I guess you can contact them and find out if you are thinking of doing some prints. $29 is still bloody cheap for A2 though.

My friend said that you have to have your image ready to go on USB, but you may have to buy a membership to the ACP. I am guessing he is yet to do some, or he has and is already an ACP member

I got the answer about ACP

Hi suren,
You need to become a workshop member. This costs you $50 per year an enables you to use our facilities ( darkroom, studio and digital suit) you also get discounts at specific photographic retailers.
Once you are a member you are welcome to come in and print to the rates you quoted.
Come in any time 12-6 7days to talk to us
Cheers,

They sound like a nice lot.

Thanks Inmotion, will contact my friend in Adelaide to see whether he wants do some prints.

Great to have gotten that worked out, thanks Surenj! I may have to take up that print offer later on, I have not time to even look at pictures at the moment.

Cupic, welcome to the forum, just a bit of advice stick a meaningful location into your profile before a big bad moderator gets to you. if in doubt check the FAQ.
