2 newish onesHello Everyone,
Haven't posted much recently, i have had a rough few weeks. I had my car broken into, they stole all of my car audio gear, a few CD's and my tripod. Luckily i had my everything else with me. I guess i will be saving for a gitzo, well, as soon as i find a job... Anyway here are a few shots from the last few months, would appreciate any comments. This one was taken at north head, 80-200mm Cheers guys, will post a few more later on.
Both are nice, the top one I think there's too much cloud. I'd rather see more of the water I think. And I'd clone out all of the bright lights down on the lower right hand side. The bottom one is absolutly beautiful. I love the vein going into his forehead. Sort of a sad yet beautiful picture.
Sorry to hear about the asses that broke into your car.
First image is nice... second one is stunning!

Bruno,
I am too, sorry to hear about you misfortune. You can't do much about the thieves, but keep you head up and be positive and a job will follow... My preference is the second one, light falling on the head amongst the shadow. Unfortunatley this is becoming a too familiar scene. Goodbye for now, fozzie

Love the first (and 2nd), great vista of approaching storm or whatever on Sydney town.

Nice, Nice Bruno,
Did you get a Models Release on the 2nd That one turned into a B & W would look great. Not that it doesn't already, might give it a little punch of moodyness is there is such a word. Mic.
#2 is just superb - great subject and the colour is spot on - well done Bruno and good luck with finding a job.

Your images are very good. The first is weakened a little by the bright lights on the botom, right. But I think the sky is fine. The second is a great image....but you picked a soft target. I feel just a trifle uneasy about these kinds of subects....but that's a personal thing. Hope you left a gold coin in his shoe? Regards

The second one is a very touching image, I think you handled the light very well... The picture reflects something sad about our society, it can make watchers uncomfortable and that's a good point IMHO.
The first one depicts what I'd sometimes describe as a "frustrating" scenery. I mean, here is a truly awesome skyline with a stunning light, and some beautiful clouds silhouettes - but it seems hard to frame it perfectly. Link.
Thanks for the comments guys, i will try a few different crop's on the first image. As for the second i am happy that you liked it. I did feel a little uneasy about taking the photo, and posting it, but it was just something i saw and had to get a shot of, the light was amazing and i think it tells a story.
Thanks again
Sorry to here about your situation mate, I like both of your images as they evoke questions about the technical side of your shots as well as some empathy for that bugger whom is no doubt alot worse off than the pair of us.
