Apes and big catsI've been on an 8 day visit to a couple of Australian Zoos to build up my collection - so now I have 1600 images (AFTER I deleted the crap ones) to get through, oh dear.
Here are a few of the ones I've looked at. Chimp mum and bub (Taronga) Gorilla mum and bub - (Taronga) Persian Leopard (Adelaide Zoo) White Lion (National Zoo & Aquarium)
Re: Apes and big catsVery nice photos Natalie.
I really love your ape shots, they really convey a very human aspect of their behaviour. I have to admit that the Chimps are my favourites. You should try to publish a book of ape photos!!! Cameron

Re: Apes and big catsHi,
Love the expressions you have captured on the chimps but the 'treatment' of #2 would have to be my favourite - pity we missed you when you were in Adelaide DebT DebT

Re: Apes and big catsLovely apes. They are like paintings almost. Love you avatar as well.
Re: Apes and big catsEach one is very good. In fact I couldn't tell which I like best?
Re: Apes and big catsGreat shots. The apes are fantastic.

great shots, not much i can add to the previous comments, but I do prefer the second one, very nice.... gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Apes and big catsHi Natalie, I thought I recognised your style of shooting from redbubble, good to see you here. The shots are great, and they really seem to capture for want of a better word the "soul" of the animals, it's powerful stuff. 1600 is a big addition to your library, I look forward to seeing more of them.
