can't decided D90 Kit or D200 Body

Postby Catcha on Mon May 25, 2009 4:04 am

Hi all,

My Nikon D70s was recently Damaged and I am able to claim it under insurance. I listed the items at a total cost of 1570, consisting of body D70s $1000 Nikon 18-105 $500 and CF card 4GB $70

I have to purchase the Items as insurance will not pay me out and I have narrowed it down to a few choices

1. D200 Body only for 1$1670

2. D90 Kit with 18-105mm lens for $1659

If I had a choice and then paid me cash I would save up for a D300 but this is not the case.

Need some advice would it be worth getting a D200 ? or the D90 will cause it newer will be much better ?

Reviews would indicate that the D90 is a superior camera, more like the D300.

D90, without a doubt.

Both are better cameras than the D70s, but the D90 is also way better than the D200.

Thanks all you made my choice much easier, D90 it is, is it better with that 18-55mm or 18-105 lens . I found the 18-105 pretty damn good before I lost it heheh
