I found this thread in my pursuit of the infamous 'energypolice' thread....

WOW that guy is an IDIOT, how did he get an F3 working??? I remember buying my D40x after a few years of having nothing to do with SLR's and only having a bit of experience with FM2's and K1000's it was an interesting learning curve, and I didnt read the manual but i found my way around it soon enough.

Maybe some people just dont get it. PS: I did find that thread and read a bit of the beginning and decided to stop.

pity I wasn't around then... I would have told him to ditch the friend and go straight out on a shoot with the daughter
