So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Singin in the...I took this snap of my sister last February, unfortunately she realised of my intention at the last minute so it does not appear to be a cadid shot, which was my intention.
Re: Singin in the...Candid or not, this is a great image. The spontenaity remains, and that especially shows through in the expression on her face.
The snow, the leading lines of the steps upon which she's walking ... this image has a great feel. g.

Re: Singin in the...I am in total agreement with Gary - excellent shot.

Re: Singin in the...Thank you very much!
Re: Singin in the...Love it! Have you tried a different colored (?more subtle) border?
Re: Singin in the...Agree about the wonderful composition. Your sister looks a little underexposed. I like to see some more detail in the coat and the quirky design motif on the bag or whatever it is at the front. Little bit of levels and curves adjustment might do the trick.
