Back from the Dead

Postby nigels on Tue Mar 01, 2005 11:30 am

Hi Guys,

Just spent the last 3 days in hospital and am now at home convalescing.

Couldn't believe, over 1200 posts since last here late Friday.

By the way the Jenolan trip still on and I have selected a fine guide by the name of Ted Mathews to help lead the trip.

Also camping ground closed at the moment due to the severe storms in recent weeks but should be open within the next 1 to 2 weeks

Cheers
Nige

Camping ground had better be open! Your back yard will have a few tents in it otherwise!

Hope all is going well for you now too :)

Glad to hear your out of hospital.. not the most fun place to be I must say. I'm going on Thursday for a colonoscopy, and that's enough for me :)

Looking forward to Jenolan... I've even decided to go the day before and get a motel room.. I was initially planning on driving up on the morning, but bugger that.. might as well make a weekend of it.

Nigel

I hope you are recovering well. I also hope you are fine by the 20th as it will be good to thank you face to face for organising the Jenolan trip.

Back from the dead - that's rather morbid. :( Hope your recovery is fast and full Nigel.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the good wishes, don't worry, I was so crook, it has felt like coming back from the dead. Fourth experience now, I hope I have as many lives as cat.

Portfolio issues fine, no worries, I'll send out a confirmation on Trust letterhead shortly to that effect. Also mud map of camping ground and letters for free passes for parking (if required) and free camping ground passes.
Also you will require complimentary tickets for the caves, which I will arrange, to cover the Trust for insurance purposes.

If anyone is thinking about staying at Caves House, please be aware the Trust alone receives many, many comlaints about the quality of accommodation, food and service.

Regards Nige

Does any one know if Birdy is coming?

Nigel
Glad to hear you're back. I knew a guy once who took a suppository back to the doctors and said, "What the hell am I supposed to do with this? I've tried swallowing it, smoking it, putting it into my food....ramming it up my nostrils...in fact everything but sticking it up my Ar.e!".
Regards
