Lightpainting and colour temperature of different torches?Has anyone found any resources outlining different colour temperatures of different torches. I know there are general categories depending on the specific globe types but for instance different LEDs can be different colours/temperatures. As far as lightpainting goes, it would be good to have a choice - maybe closer to daylight, or moonlight etc. Brent Pearson describes the Surefire G2 as ~5000K and fluoro camping light at ~6000K in his Night Photography eBook.
I know you can correct for this in RAW PP but nevertheless would be good to have a more extensive resource. I wonder if it is something one can measure oneself reliably using white balance in camera RAW. Last edited by muzz on Thu Jun 11, 2009 12:52 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Lightpainting and colour temperature of different torches?I have no idea, but this is something that will be interesting if you do lightpainting.
