how do i find this out on my d300 ?

Photome shows it for my Pentax and is a free download.

dunno about the Nikon

iexif or exiftool will tell you!

To answer your question rooz, you can’t, not ON the D300 :)

But the guys have given a good lead.

Yeah I use Opanda Iexif and you are after the value Total Number of Shutter Releases for Camera
D80, 50mm F/1.8, 18-70mm DX, Sigma 10-20mm
