Sydney MiniMeet - for those of us who cant do after hours

Postby aim54x on Mon Jul 27, 2009 11:56 pm

Rooz pointed out that not all of us work 9-5 Monday to Friday, and that he, and possibly others have most of their free time during the week. He put forth a suggestion that maybe we should do a midweek (weekday) meet/brekkie/lunch.

If you are in Sydney and are interested in flaunting the fact that you are not part of the rat race then let us know about any ideas that you have for a midweek meet.

if i had not just been to the bloody zoo and still recovering from the traumatic experience and some more notice you could count me in!

I would be keen on week days, in particular evenings, maybe sunsets or some flash orientated shoots.

If you do end up at the zoo, maybe try early morning, I found with the position of the sun in he avro that side of the hill gets in a lot of shadow - could be ok if you have some tidy fast glass though... maybe others could share their experience in terms of the best time of day for Taronga?!

Me and some friends are headed out to Bradley Head tomorrow arvo, so if anyone wants to meet us there it should be fine. We leave USYD at approx 3pm and will hope to get there by 4pm and then set up for a sunset shoot.

PM me if your game
