Re: EOI - Car lightpainting mini meetThanks for all who have confirmed and Gary for adding this to the calender.
Dviv and Mattk need to confirm... will PM them. Do we have a rain/bad weather backup? [maybe setup tripods inside another car and wear a black raincoat for painting ] Just wanted to remind everyone to wear black (and non reflective stuff).
Re: EOI - Car lightpainting mini meet

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: EOI - Car lightpainting mini meet
I think auxr8220 and the Tangcla hold their softboxes about 30cm from the car. Would be hard (but not impossible with a boom arm) to be out of the frame..
Re: EOI - Car lightpainting mini meetA work mate has a '67(?) Mustang (Red), lives "up the road" from Tunks, and has also recently invested in some Nikon technology....
I'll have to do some "suggestive arm-bending". Canon 450D/ 18-55 IS "Kit Lens" / 55-250 IS "Kit Lens 2" / 17-85 EF-S / Nifty 50 II

7pm this evening, at the boat ramp at Tunks Park. We'll be coming from a late afternoon/early evening Christmas in [pick your month] function in the city ... should be there pretty close to seven, depending upon traffic heading out of the city. g.
