Hi guys, Just thought I'd let you know that JB Hi Fi on Elizabeth St are currently having a sale on their Sigma 10-20mm lenses, only for this week. Lens: $767 Lens + Kenko triple coat UV filter: $770 Lens + Kenko Pro 1 Digital UV filter: $800 According to the C.R. Kennedy person that I spoke to, JB are selling the lens for less than they pay C.R. Kennedy for them! They just happen to have a large amount of stock at the moment because they made a mass purchase at a PMA exhibition in Geelong (I think? Anyway, that little bit of info is mostly irrelevant!) Hopefully this bit of info will come in handy for anyone else who's been looking to buy one! I just got back from purchasing mine and am hopping up and down with excitement because I can't wait to take my first shot with it Cheers, Ellie

I'm aware of the Bargains board, however it didn't let me post it there.

With the number of posts you have made and the time that you have been a member entitles you to access. It is all spelt out in the FAQ section. Once you have access you will find prices that makes Ted’s look shabby

Firstly let me apologise for posting here, I find myself in much the same senario as Kitchenwench...... just thought I would point out a lil gem I came across. The Craftright safe case, its water resistant, air tight and dust proof. exterior dimensions are 465l x 360d x 175h. for all intensive purposes a heavy duty Pelican knockoff, with 2 layers of egg shell foam and 2 layers of pick and pluck foam, it is pretty bulletproof and all for $69.00 from Bunnings. Sorry once again for corrupting the system but Mods there really doesnt appear to be any other place for newbies to post incidental finds. I am happy to be corrected!
Cheers Rob

Thanks for the info there Jaff and Kitchenwench....although I am not in Melbourne if I was I would have had a stickybeak down there for a 10-20 (although I have my heart on full frame) and the Pelican knockoff is very interesting indeed. Kitchewench...you may want to shoot Gary a PM asking for full access. Jaff...your almost there to getting full access (have a look at the FAQ). Cheers Cameron

Exactly Jaff...your almost there to getting full access (have a look at the FAQ).
Please also note that what's stated in the FAQ is the basic guidelines that are used. We have frequently added people earlier than what's stated, provided that we can be satisfied that they meet the criteria for being a member of this community. That is the overriding point.
