A beautiful lady approaching her mid 40sFirst of all, a big thank you to Jeremy for the use of his 66 Mustang. She was a most co-operative and willing model. No complaints about maintaining a pose, no whining about the cold ... a truly beautiful lady approaching her mid 40s.
Despite the fact that I chose the venue, I think it was pretty bloody good. No background distractions, dark - darker than I expected, because of (I think) a new moon. I need to verify that .... Lots of room to move back or forwards or around the car ... And lots of good people with whom to share the evening. I hope that everyone enjoyed the evening as much as I did. D300, Multiple exposure in-camera. g.

Re: A beautiful lady approaching her mid 40sShe was an absolutely gorgeous lady!!!
Great shots there Gary, I like the concept of the first....maybe if we lined up the softboxes to make it look like a battery of flood lights? The second looks a bit underexposed to me, but concept of the third is very nice Cameron

Re: A beautiful lady approaching her mid 40sNice train chasing car sort of shot in #3. I reckon you can further improve that by putting a scared looking driver in the seat!
The first image is a great concept. I have seen one photo where someone walked around and flashed his car multiple times to make it look like a wall of light bulbs (with a twinkle because of his high aperture)
Re: A beautiful lady approaching her mid 40sGary,
I will let her know of your appreciation. Nice pics indeed.

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: A beautiful lady approaching her mid 40sGary, you must have a cast of thousands holding all your softboxes in the first image!

Nah ... just kept on cloning the softbox in post. No, not really.
Thanx. It WAS a new moon too, btw. And no, it wouldn't have been the same without a visit from the local constabulary. g.

I didn't even know that blues were around! I almost got run over by them and only knew when someone mentioned later! I think I was concentrating on getting that sideways shot!
