Baby picHere's a slightly cliched picture of our new daughter, Sarah. She was born last week, weighing in at a tad under 4kg.
The image was taken with Sarah (1 week old) on a Jetstar blanket on our lounge room floor. Light source was the sun through slightly tinted windows. No backdrop used. C&C appreciated as usual.
Re: Baby picBeautiful shot Geoff, I can't really criticise it as I think it's pretty good already.
Perhaps have a go at increasing the contrast a TAD and see how it looks. Just increase it so that you lose the creases in the material... Congratulations on your new baby girl too! Geoff

Re: Baby picCongratulations !!!
I like this one, maybe crop it a little to get rid of some of the black but not to much. How did you get the background so black??? I took this one a few weeks ago: "Old school" (Olympus OM 1&2SP )
Re: Baby picThanks Geoff and Craig.
To answer you question Craig, the light was quite bright so my shutter speed was quite high, so that made the background dark. A bit like a reverse silhouette. Also had a fiddle in lightroom with curves and a vignette.
