Forum rulesPlease note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Hi All, Well i know i have been slack and haven't posted any pics for sometime now, but doesn't mean i am not here looking as i always look and the usual standard of photo's are as usual exellent. Anyhow Fozzie twisted my arm to post a few pics so here is a few bike pics from late. This one taken with the D3 and Nikon 300m F2.8 They have started a class inwhich children are allowed to race so they start off on these small 150cc bikes and this one taken at the recent titles held here. And when it all goes wrong, you just know it is going hurt. This is just 1 shot out of a series i took of this fellow coming off as there are pic of this on my site with him and the bike parting company, shot at 600m with D3. Great shots, tack sharp...but they seem to be missing a bit in the way of colour with the reds and yellows being very saturated and the background being muted. Is this an artifact of the mid day sun? First time at the bikes with the D3 and well i was playing with settings on camera and adjusting saturation so also the sun was a big factor as i would normally not shoot on the dark side of the in this first picture but was amazed if the detail at shooting with the sun on otherside of the bike. The 2nd pic was taken with the D2x so i am still playing with D3 as i was today seeing what does what. Love the eyes in the second - well, technically one eye really It always adds a lot, especially with the bikes, when you can see the eyes through the visor. Good to see some pics from you mate *** When getting there is half the fun! ***

BBJ - print and frame #1. Might just have to invite myself down one weekend when the bikes are in action, and have a shoot out fozzie
When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.

Hi Tony, Yes i know he is as he has sent me emails already and well would have been good to go and see but yeh have to curve my spending a bit for a lil while as have bought another boat so D3 and new boat in a couple of months means stay home and work lol.D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X 80-400VR,SB800,Vosonic X Drive,VP6210 40http://www.oz-images.com
