Picture of the Week 1 September 2009

Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

This week's PotW has been selected by craig.rohse......Image

My picture of the week is Image #4 from A Day At The Hunt by inmotion

He has captured the jump perfectly, the composition and detail are great showing the horses
in action and the look of determination in the rider's face. I like that inmotion took the photo
from low to the ground shooting up as well.

Craig,

Great choice, of an image that is simply stunning.

Jim, you've truly excelled with this shot. Action, angle, colour, excitement ... you've got it all!

Ditto all comments. Wonderful, striking image, crisp and colourful. The crop angle is excellent.

Hi Guys/Gals Thanks for the great comments , it shows it pays to be versatile as this was shot with the 24-120 on the D3 to gain a different perspective-I still want a fisheye foe some of these angles
